Amphipia I metal print by Kay Shaffer. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

About Kay Shaffer
Kay Shaffer is a self-taught textile artist specializing in fine art batik. She blends ancient techniques of waxing and dying cloth with her own brush and application techniques and combinations of dying methods to create vibrant, captivating artwork. She has pursued the art of batik with a personal challenge to create compositions that give a sense of fluidity and motion, convey space and depth and have saturation and brilliance of color. She hopes that they will exceed the expectations usually associated with an art form that has multiple phases of waxing a dying a simple piece of cloth.
